Eagles extend record-breaking residency at Sphere in Las Vegas yet again
Country rock legends Eagles have extended their record-breaking Sphere residency in Las Vegas for a fourth time, adding another four shows for early 2027. The announcement comes nine months after the band first described a March 2026 run as their "final" shows at the venue, only for the residency to be prolonged repeatedly since. The extension underlines the enduring popularity of both the band and the immersive Sphere venue, which has become a major draw for major touring acts.
The band played their first Sphere date in September 2024 and will now complete a total of 72 shows across 36 weekends, with the residency finally concluding on 22 and 23 January 2027. Eagles have already performed to more than a million fans at the venue and hold the record for the longest-running Sphere residency, surpassing the 48 shows played by Dead & Company between May 2024 and May 2025. Promoters say the concerts offer fans an unusually immersive connection to the music.
