Earth, Wind & Fire postponed their scheduled San Francisco concert with Lionel Richie after an unnamed band member experienced a medical emergency. The Chase Center show will be rescheduled, marking another disruption to the joint tour after Lionel Richie’s illness caused earlier postponements.

TMZ reported that San Francisco firefighters attended a suspected cardiac incident before the concert and transported one person to hospital, though neither the patient nor further medical details were disclosed. Ticket holders can use their existing tickets for the replacement date or obtain refunds; the tour is due to continue in Palm Desert on 8 August before dates in Los Angeles, Phoenix and Austin.
