Polygon has published a walkthrough for the "Echoes of Silenced Bells" quest in The Blood of Dawnwalker, an early-game mission the outlet describes as one of the longest and most difficult in the game. The quest, unlocked after completing the prologue "Smoke and Ashes" provided the character Anca survives, requires players to cross a convent courtyard overrun by hostile nuns, make moral choices, explore catacombs and defeat a boss in order to reach the convent's library.

The guide explains two main routes into the library: locating the relic of St Tyna to bribe soldiers guarding a side entrance, or learning bell tower signals to control the nuns blocking the way, with players free to pursue both before deciding. It details specific in-game locations, such as the infirmary window, the church and sacristy, where the relic and a key can be found, alongside tips on stealth routes to avoid detection.
