The Ecovacs Deebot X11, a hybrid robot vacuum and mop, has dropped to $699 at Amazon and directly from Ecovacs, a saving of $400 and a new low price. It is a successor to a former top pick in The Verge's robot vacuum rankings, and although a newer model (the Matic) has since taken that title, reviewers say the X11 remains a strong choice, particularly at close to half its usual price.

The device offers 19,500Pa suction, lidar and 3D camera mapping for obstacle avoidance, and an extending roller mop that reaches into corners and lifts itself automatically to protect rugs. Mechanical levers help it climb over thick rugs, raised doorways and uneven flooring, while its dock recharges the battery, empties the dustbin and washes and dries the mop in hot water with minimal user input. It also supports the Matter smart home standard, allowing voice control via major platforms.
