Ed Sheeran is pressing ahead with the transformation of his £1.1million Suffolk farm complex, having secured planning permission to redevelop a cattle shed, pig pens and a milking parlour into new state-of-the-art facilities. The singer bought the 17th-century farmhouse two years ago and has already converted the main barns into a recording studio and rehearsal space, with the site being likened to a "countryside Abbey Road" for its growing collection of music and leisure facilities.

The 35-year-old previously spent £150,000 turning a former piggery into a man cave complete with a bar, gym, pool table and bowling alleys. His latest planning application covers the site's remaining outbuildings, marking the next phase of his efforts to expand the rural property into a comprehensive music and entertainment complex.
