London-based singer-songwriter Elanor Moss has released a new single, "Fixer," from her forthcoming album The Knife, The Needle. The track explores the theme of vulnerability in relationships, comparing it to an animal exposing itself to potential harm from a loved one, and it also lends its imagery to the album's title.

The song's lyrics move from fear ("if you show me the knife/ I might use it on you, babe") towards a more hopeful resolution, reframing the "knife" as a "needle" that could be used to "stitch the wound." Moss recorded the single alongside a video directed by H. Hawkline, and The Knife, The Needle is set for release on 21 August via Merge Records.
