A24’s Elden Ring film has reportedly completed filming, according to a now-deleted Instagram post by prop artist Sean Schofield. The production team thanked cast and crew for their work, marking a major milestone for the high-budget adaptation ahead of its planned March 2028 release.

Filming began in spring 2026 and appears to have lasted about six months, leaving more than a year for post-production and effects work. Leaked set photographs previously suggested the story may be set before the game’s Shattering and include locations such as Leyndell, Stormveil Castle and the Academy of Raya Lucaria; the reported cast includes Nick Offerman and Cailee Spaeny, with a budget exceeding $100 million.
