Elizabeth Hurley Joins ‘The ‘Burbs’ Season 2 As Series Regular
Elizabeth Hurley has joined the second season of Peacock’s mystery comedy The ‘Burbs as a series regular, playing Beverly Fisher, the mother of Jack Whitehall’s character Rob Fisher. The casting adds a prominent British actor to the show’s returning ensemble as it continues its modern reworking of the 1989 horror-comedy film.
Season one follows a young couple who move into the husband’s childhood suburban home, where a new neighbour exposes old secrets and introduces deadly dangers.
