Country singer Ella Langley reacted with shock and disbelief after receiving nine nominations for the 2026 CMA Awards, a milestone reflecting a breakout run fuelled by hits such as "You Look Like You Love Me", "Nicotine" and "Choosin' Texas". Filming her reaction from home with only her dog and a friend for company, Langley struggled to process the moment, telling fans "this is still happening in real time" as each nomination was announced.

Her nominations span major categories including Single of the Year, Album of the Year, Song of the Year and Entertainer of the Year, putting her alongside established names such as Cody Johnson, Luke Combs, Chris Stapleton, Lainey Wilson and Taylor Swift. She is also nominated for "I Can't Love You Anymore", her collaboration with Morgan Wallen. The 2026 CMA Awards will air live on ABC and Disney+ on Wednesday 18 November at 8pm, with streaming available on Hulu the following day.
