Country singer Ella Langley has revealed that she never spent the last $100 she earned in tips before her music career took off, describing it as a sentimental keepsake that reminds her of how far she's come. In a TikTok video, the "Be Her" singer explained that she used to save one-dollar bills from tip jars until she had $100, and this particular stack was the last such amount she collected before her career changed course.

Langley found the cash while packing to move house and said she had often felt tempted, and sometimes needed, to spend it, but held off out of faith in herself. Her patience has since been rewarded: her hit single "Choosin' Texas" has now spent 15 weeks at number one on the Billboard Hot 100, making it the longest-running chart-topper by a solo female artist this century, surpassing songs by Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey.
