Ella Langley's "Choosin' Texas" has spent a 17th week at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, making it the fourth-longest-running chart-topper in the chart's history since records began in August 1958. The song's continued dominance also helped Langley become just the third artist, and the first woman, to simultaneously top the Hot 100 and Country Airplay charts with two different songs, alongside Morgan Wallen's "I Can't Love You Anymore".

The track, released on SAWGOD/Columbia Records, generated 24.9 million official US streams, 54.5 million radio airplay impressions and 9,000 sales in the week to 6 August 2026, and also leads Streaming Songs, Digital Song Sales and the Hot Country Songs chart, where its 35-week reign is the third-longest ever. Meanwhile, Ariana Grande placed two songs in the Hot 100's top five from her new album petal, her seventh No. 1 on the Billboard 200, with "Hate That I Made You Love Me" rebounding to No. 2 and the title track debuting at No. 4.
