Ella Langley's "Choosin' Texas" has spent a 14th week at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, matching the all-time record held jointly by Whitney Houston's "I Will Always Love You" and Mariah Carey's "We Belong Together" for the most weeks atop the chart by a female act without a co-billed male performer (Carey's seasonal "All I Want for Christmas Is You," with roughly 22 weeks across seven years, is excluded from that comparison). The milestone cements the song's status as the year's biggest hit and extends a strong run for Langley, who first topped the chart in February and won the Academy of Country Music's female artist of the year award in May.

Along the way, the track has already overtaken Brandy & Monica's "The Boy Is Mine" (13 weeks) and both Destiny's Child's "Independent Women Part I" and Toni Braxton's "Un-Break My Heart" (11 weeks each). For the week of 10-16 July, "Choosin' Texas" logged 24 million official streams (down 4% week-on-week), 51 million radio airplay audience impressions (up 1%) and 7,000 US sales. Elsewhere on the chart, Stella Lefty's "Boston" reached her first Hot 100 top 10 at No. 6, while British singer Olivia Dean topped the Radio Songs chart with "So Easy (To Fall in Love)," which rose to No. 9 on the Hot 100 as her earlier hit "Man I Need" slipped to No. 10.
