ELOY CASAGRANDE Says SLIPKNOT Is Recording ‘A Lot Of Songs’ For Upcoming Album: ‘We Are Making Real Music’

Slipknot is recording its next album, with drummer Eloy Casagrande saying the band has written many songs and is pleased with the material so far. He described the sessions as relaxed and focused on making music the members believe in, rather than on commercial expectations.

The record will be Casagrande’s first with Slipknot since joining in 2024 after 12 years with Sepultura. The band released the single “Arsenal” in September, but Casagrande did not disclose further details about the album or its songs.
