Embark On An Epic Voyage With The Latest Switch Online Game Trial (Europe)

Nintendo Life ·

Nintendo Switch Online members in Europe can play No Man's Sky for free between 20th and 26th August as part of the platform's rotating game trials scheme, marking the exploration title's tenth anniversary. Developer Hello Games has continued updating No Man's Sky since its rocky 2016 launch, and the trial gives newcomers a chance to sample the space survival adventure before deciding whether to buy, while progress carries over as a free upgrade for anyone who already owns it on Switch platforms.

Nintendo Life's review of the Switch 2 version praised it as a full, uncompromised port with no technical cuts, further enhanced by the Beacon update's base-building depth. Hello Games founder Sean Murray recently teased further "big things" for the game, including an upcoming 'Cosmos' update, as part of the ongoing anniversary celebrations.
