Confirmed attendees include Netflix co-chief executive Ted Sarandos, NBCUniversal’s Donna Langley, Disney’s Dana Walden, Sony Pictures’ Tom Rothman and leaders from major cinema chains, agencies and film institutions. Organised by France’s National Centre for Cinema, the summit is described as France’s first comparable global film conference in a century; organisers are also expected to announce an international NGO to protect and promote independent cinema.
