Emmys: Fox, Peacock, Disney+ Among Juried Award Winners; ‘The Masked Singer’, ‘The Traitors’ Top List
The Television Academy has announced the 78th Emmy Awards’ juried-category winners, recognising work in animation, costume design and emerging media. Fox’s The Masked Singer, Peacock’s The Traitors and Disney+ productions Eyes of Wakanda and Star Wars: Visions were among the recipients, highlighting achievements assessed directly by specialist industry panels rather than through the usual nominee process.
The Masked Singer and The Traitors won for costumes in variety, nonfiction or reality programming, while Crafting Crimes won for innovation in emerging media. Animation honours went to artists working on Eyes of Wakanda, Genndy Tartakovsky’s Primal, The Mighty Nein and Star Wars: Visions; no Emmy was awarded for outstanding motion design. The awards will be presented on 5 and 6 September, ahead of the main NBC broadcast on 14 September.
