Enes Kanter Freedom has asked the WNBA to review his removal from a Chicago Sky v Indiana Fever game and refund his ticket, saying he was ejected because of his views on women’s sport. The former NBA player alleges the league and arena applied their rules selectively after Sky guard Natasha Cloud confronted him during the third quarter.

In a letter to WNBA Commissioner Cathy Engelbert, Freedom said he wore a shirt supporting the protection of women’s sports and had announced plans to enter the WNBA Draft as a protest.
