South Korean boy band ENHYPEN used their first shows in Mexico to connect directly with local fans, incorporating well-known Spanish-language songs and references to Mexican culture into their performances. During two consecutive concerts at Arena Mexico City on 11 and 12 July, the group joined crowds singing “Despacito” and “Cielito Lindo”, and danced to “Payaso de Rodeo”, signalling an effort to bridge the language gap with their Mexican audience. The moment matters because it underlined the group’s growing reach in Latin America and showed how international pop acts are adapting their shows to local audiences.

The six-member group performed to 22,000 fans on each night as part of its Blood Saga tour, which had previously stopped in Peru and marks ENHYPEN’s first visit to Latin America. Members also referenced Mexico’s recent World Cup atmosphere: Ni-ki wore the national football shirt, while Jake praised the country despite South Korea’s defeat to Mexico on 18 June and later spoke about the “festival vibe” across host cities Mexico City, Monterrey and Guadalajara. The concerts featured fan favourites including “Go Big or Go Home”, “Drunk-Dazed”, “Bite Me” and “Shout Out”, while Jungwon also posted a TikTok cover of Humbe’s “Amor de Cine” ahead of the second of four scheduled Mexico City shows; the group said “Shout Out” points towards its upcoming mini-album THE SIN: BLISS, due on 21 August.
