Emmy winner Eric McCormack has signed on to star in "You're Safe Here", a psychological drama directed by Nimisha Mukerji and written by Jess Mastro. The project, filming in Toronto, is described as an exploration of loneliness, mortality and the darker forms love can take, marking McCormack's latest role following his long-running turn on "Will & Grace".

McCormack, best known for playing Will Truman across 246 episodes of "Will & Grace" and winning a 2001 Emmy for the role, is joined in the cast by Anja Savcic, Jesse Rath and Bo Martynowska. His recent credits include MGM+/Sony's "Nine Dead Bodies in a Mexican Morgue" and Hulu's "The Other Black Girl", alongside stage work such as Broadway's "The Cottage". Mukerji previously directed episodes of "Under the Bridge" and "911", while writer Mastro, known for "Underrated" and "The Dutchman", also serves as Head of Development at The Launch Company.
