Eric Roberts Starring In Vertical Drama ‘It’s My Party And I’ll Die If I Want To’

Deadline ·

Oscar-nominated actor Eric Roberts will star in New Short Media’s first announced vertical drama, “It’s My Party and I’ll Die If I Want To”. The project is planned for release as both a short-form vertical series and a feature film for theatrical release, reflecting the company’s effort to develop stories for the growing microdrama format.

Created by Gev Miron and Charlie Parker, the story follows Anna as she tries to conceal the truth about her best friend’s death during her 21st birthday celebration, while secrets and family revelations emerge. Merrick Hanna, Neela Jolene and Ryker Baloun also star. Roberts has appeared in another vertical project, “Billionaires’ Broken Vow”; New Short Media founders Alon Shtruzman and Scott Einbinder launched the company earlier this year.
