Billboard has opened its weekly New Music Latin poll, inviting readers to choose their favourite among recent releases from artists including Karol G, Kapo, Benny Blanco, Selena Gomez and Becky G. The poll highlights Erick Brian’s “Efímera”, a collaboration with Dale Pututi and Nesty that marks a stylistic shift towards Cuba’s reparto movement.

Former CNCO member Erick Brian said the track helped him reconnect with his Cuban roots while exploring a new sound; its lyrics concern a relationship in which the partners are out of sync. Other new releases include music from Los Tigres del Norte, Francisca Valenzuela and Silvestre Dangond; Anitta’s Equilibrivm II won the previous poll with more than 70% of votes, while this poll closes at 11 a.m. ET on 3 August if it receives over 1,000 votes.
