Eris Drew & Octo Octa Release Debut Alchemical Sisters Album
Eris Drew and Octo Octa have released their debut album as Alchemical Sisters, a project that grew out of their all-vinyl back-to-back DJ sets. The record brings their shared approach to psychedelic rave music into an album format, shaped by a period of focused collaboration.
The pair, Maya Bouldry-Morrison and Eris Drew, made much of the album during sessions in the New Hampshire woods over the winter. They describe its sound as psychedelic chaos, acid rollers and big beat, created with hardware instruments and guided by love and rhythm. Mixed in Detroit, the album was launched at an East London Mixlab session and is now available in full.
