Ethan Hawke Unveils His Eerie New Art Bell-Inspired Passion Project With ‘Sinister’ and ‘The Black Phone’ Team [Exclusive]
Ethan Hawke, Scott Derrickson and C. Robert Cargill have reunited for *Midnight Radio*, a horror podcast that uses the format of a late-night AM call-in show. Hawke plays its host, whose routine broadcast takes a disturbing turn when a caller claims to have been on a US space mission erased from history.
The story unfolds in real time, drawing on conspiracy theories, supernatural encounters and signals hidden in radio static. Hawke said the project grew from the trio’s shared interest in *The Twilight Zone*, Art Bell’s radio programme and immersive old-style horror; the first episode has been released by iHeartPodcasts.
