Evan Ross Katz will host a live recording of his Netflix podcast, Shut Up Evan: The Group Chat, at the streamer’s End of the Summer Bash in Los Angeles. The event reflects Netflix’s renewed focus on young-adult programming, a genre it says has generated substantial global viewing and continues to support with new series, casting announcements and fan events.

The 60-minute taping on 13 August will feature actors Maitreyi Ramakrishnan, Anna Cathcart, Nikki Rodriguez, Miku Martineau and Kristina Bogic, discussing their Netflix careers and future projects. Netflix says YA titles have received 1.4 billion global views so far in 2026, with Stranger Things and Wednesday among its major performers; it has also promoted forthcoming shows including The Sticks, Crew Girl and The Body.
