Elfyn Evans remained third at Rally Finland after rolling his Toyota on Saturday, while nine-time champion Sébastien Ogier crashed out while leading and was taken to hospital for precautionary checks. The incidents reshaped the rally before Sunday’s final two stages, with Finland’s Sami Pajari inheriting the lead at his home event.

Ogier and co-driver Julien Ingrassia were conscious and able to leave their car unaided after it hit trees on stage 17, Toyota said. Evans lost around two minutes after rolling three times on stage 14, but spectators and Toyota mechanics helped him resume; Pajari led Oliver Solberg by 46.6 seconds, with Evans 1 minute 36.3 seconds behind.
