Charlie Rolfe, singer with High Wycombe metalcore band As Everything Unfolds, has shared the playlist of songs that shaped her for Metal Hammer, ahead of the release of the band's new album, Did You Ask To Be Set Free?. The band, signed to Century Media alongside acts such as Arch Enemy and Lacuna Coil, have toured with Bury Tomorrow, and Rolfe explains that the cinematic, larger-than-life influence of artists like My Chemical Romance and 30 Seconds To Mars, which shaped the new album's grief-themed, film-inspired sound, also runs through her personal music taste.

– As Everything Unfolds' new album draws on soundtracks and imagery from films including The Shining and Blade Runner.
– Rolfe's playlist opens with My Chemical Romance's "Welcome To The Black Parade", the song that hooked her on the band aged 11, despite The Black Parade not being her favourite of their albums.
– The feature also references Rolfe's youthful attempt to copy Paramore singer Hayley Williams' famous haircut, which she describes as producing "horrific photos".
