Although no official tie-in game accompanies the film, fans have instead turned to Insomniac Games' existing PlayStation titles to get their web-slinging fix, with Marvel's Spider-Man 2 recently updated to include the hero's new suit from the movie.

On Steam, Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered, Miles Morales and Spider-Man 2 have all hit their highest concurrent player counts in over a year, while Google searches for "Spider-Man Brand New Day game" have risen by 40%. The surge coincides with discounts across the series, including a 58% reduction on Spider-Man 2 via the PlayStation Store and physical disc deals at major retailers, ahead of Insomniac's next release, Wolverine.
