Everything announced during Nintendo Direct
Nintendo held its second Direct presentation of the week, following a Zelda-focused showcase, this time revealing a broad slate of games arriving on Switch 2 and the original Switch. The stream focused heavily on titles landing this winter, alongside several announcements for games due much further out, reinforcing Nintendo's push to bolster Switch 2's library with both new entries and ported favourites from other platforms.
Highlights included a Monster Hunter Wilds port for Switch 2 on 4 December, Final Fantasy 7 Revelation confirmed for 8 April 2027, and Crisis Core: Final Fantasy 7 Reunion available immediately. Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity gets a Definitive Edition on Switch 2 on 25 February with improved visuals and all DLC included, while The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt — Remastered arrives 29 September with new control options. Other announcements covered Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 (2027), Professor Layton and the New World of Steam (10 December), a newly revealed Yo-kai Watch 2: Haunted Domain, and updates to Star Fox, Pikmin 4 and Pokémon Pokopia.
