– Sony held two State of Play presentations on Thursday, unveiling new release dates, trailers and expansions across a wide range of PS5 titles rather than any single major reveal.
– Marvel's Wolverine gets a new trailer ahead of its 15 September PS5 launch, alongside a fresh clip from the Resident Evil film (out 18 September) directed by Zach Cregger.
– Ghost of Yōtei's roguelike "Most Wanted" survival mode and story expansion arrive 1 October, alongside a Crimson Desert expansion, "Charting the Unknown", on 15 October.
– Metro 2039 was shown running on PS5 Pro, confirmed for PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC on 4 February; Monster Hunter Wilds: Ascendance got a trailer with a Tokyo Game Show demo to follow.
– Maneater 2 was announced for next year, Final Fantasy Resonance launches 22 October (demo out now), and Gundam Rogue Orbit is set for 5 March.
– Double Fine's Keeper launched on PS5 today, while indie titles Hunter's Moon (26 October) and Uncanyon (next year) were also shown, plus Konami's Rev.Noir (2027) and Rhapsody in Scarlet.
– A $180 Lego PlayStation 1 building set was revealed, arriving 1 October.
