Pokémon Pokopia has received its Bubbly Basin DLC alongside a free update available to all players, expanding the life-simulation spin-off with new areas, mechanics and quality-of-life improvements. The headline addition is a Dive mechanic allowing players to move freely underwater, which is free for everyone, though visiting the Bubbly Basin area itself requires the paid DLC; the update also enables underwater building for the first time.
The free update introduces Portal Pods, which cost 3,000 Life Coins and let players build two linked pods for instant travel between locations, plus five new hair colours, two new emotes and a decorative "Dynamic Ditto Print" obtainable from Smearguru.
