“Grand Theft Auto VI” is scheduled to launch on 19 November, more than a decade after the previous main entry, with Rockstar Games positioning it as a major new instalment in its open-world crime series. The game follows Jason Duval and Lucia Camino after a failed robbery draws them into a criminal conspiracy across Leonida, a fictional state based on Florida; its release matters because it is one of the industry’s most anticipated games and has faced years of leaks, delays and uncertainty.

It will initially be available for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, with no confirmed PC release date, although earlier GTA titles later came to PC. The setting includes a Miami-inspired Vice City and regions such as the Leonida Keys, Grassrivers and Mount Kalaga, while unconfirmed reports suggest the map will exceed previous playable areas. Pre-orders opened on 25 June, and the standard edition is priced at $79.99; Rockstar has not confirmed the cast, despite fan speculation about the leads’ actors.
