Palworld, the creature-collecting survival crafting game that reached early access in 2024 and has attracted more than 35 million players, is expanding into a physical trading card game developed by Bushiroad, due for release on 30 July. The move builds on the game's popularity, with the first Booster Pack, Dawn of Palpagos, already selling more than 3.5 million packs worldwide ahead of launch, suggesting strong appetite for further Palworld merchandise.

The two-player game uses a 50-card main deck and a 10-card soul deck, with Pals, gear, event and structure cards combining to attack an opponent's Life Points, which start at 10 per player. Players can block attacks by sacrificing a Pal or gamble on flipping a "Lucky" card to avoid damage entirely, adding a layer of risk-based strategy. New players are directed towards Trial Decks, available in Red/Blue and Green/Purple variants, which include a play guide, playmat, life counter, 60 cards and a Booster Pack, while cards themselves range in rarity from Common up to ultra-rare Super Special Parallels.
