Explained simply
The Evolution Mallorca Film Festival is an annual film event held on the Spanish island of Mallorca. It brings together international and local filmmakers, screens feature films and short films, and includes a programme for work made in the Balearic Islands.
Film festivals give audiences a chance to see films from different countries and provide filmmakers with a place to present their work. Their awards recognise achievements in areas such as directing, acting and cinematography, while local programmes can draw attention to films and talent from the region.
