Fans Choose JENNIE’s ‘Fallen Angel’ as This Week’s Favorite New Music
JENNIE, the BLACKPINK member, has topped Billboard's weekly new music poll with her latest release, Fallen Angel, beating out new material from artists including Olivia Rodrigo, Ky-Mani Marley, Alex Warren and Alabama Shakes. The result underlines the strength of her solo pull with fans, coming just over a year after her full-length solo debut, Ruby.
Readers voted in the poll, published on Friday 28 August and closed on Sunday, with Fallen Angel securing more than 82% of the vote. The project, released via ODDATELIER and Columbia Records, is led by single "Less Than a Lover" and includes the title track "Fallen Angel", accompanied by a music video, plus "Heaven" as a three-song digital EP. A physical CD version, preorderable now and shipping from 30 October, expands the release to six tracks with three additional songs — "Sweettooth", "Lockitdown" and "Face".
