Farruko, Greeicy & Steve Aoki Reach No. 1 on Latin Airplay With ‘YAPAQUE’

Billboard · 2 hours ago

Farruko, Greeicy and Steve Aoki have claimed the top spot on Billboard's Latin Airplay chart with their debut collaboration "YAPAQUE", released on Massivo/Sony Music Latin. The track, which premiered live during Aoki's set at Ultra Music Festival in Miami in March, climbed from No. 6 to No. 1 on the chart dated 1 August, just ten weeks after entering at No. 43 in May. The milestone matters as it delivers landmark firsts for two of the three artists and gives independent label Massivo its first ever Billboard number one.

According to Luminate, "YAPAQUE" grew its audience by 43% to 8.3 million impressions in the 17-23 July tracking week, displacing Shakira and Burna Boy's "Dai Dai" after just one week at the summit. It is Farruko's 14th chart-topper and his first since "Pasa-Je-Ro" in late 2023, while Greeicy secures her maiden Latin Airplay entry and first number one on any Billboard chart, and Aoki claims his first Latin Airplay No. 1 on only his fourth appearance on the ranking. The song has also set career-best positions across other charts, topping Latin Rhythm Airplay, peaking at No. 7 on Hot Dance/Electronic Songs, and rising to No. 16 on Hot Latin Songs.

  • "YAPAQUE" hits No. 1 on Billboard's Latin Airplay chart
  • First Latin Airplay chart-topper ever for Greeicy and Steve Aoki
  • Song also tops Latin Rhythm Airplay and hits new career highs elsewhere
