Fastest female comes home to win Sheffield 10k
Claire Frankland and Leo Cossham won the Sheffield 10K, finishing as the fastest female and male runners respectively. Thousands took part in the race, organised by Jane Tomlinson’s Run For All, with many raising money for charities.
Frankland completed the course in 36 minutes and one second, while 27-year-old Cossham finished in 31 minutes and 55 seconds. Other runners supported causes including Sheffield Children’s Hospital, Tommy’s and Sheffield Cat Shelter; Run For All has raised more than £10m since 2007.
