EA Sports has taken FC 26’s online services offline for scheduled maintenance on 12 August, temporarily preventing players from using matchmaking and modes such as Ultimate Team. The work is expected to be routine preparation for Season 10, described as the game’s final major season, making the outage relevant to players planning online matches or progression.

Maintenance began at 08:00 UTC and is scheduled to finish at 10:30 UTC, lasting two and a half hours; match creation was disabled 30 minutes beforehand. EA warns that players may be disconnected or unable to access services during the window, though delays remain possible. Offline Manager Mode remains playable, while the Web App and Companion App can still be used for Squad Building Challenges.
