‘Fear Not’ & ‘How To Survive Without Me’s Bash Doran Inks Overall Deal With Paramount Television Studios
Paramount Television Studios has signed writer and playwright Bash Doran to an exclusive overall deal to create, develop and produce original scripted series. The agreement gives Doran a single studio base for building her projects and was negotiated before Paramount’s merger with Warner Bros. Discovery closed.
Doran developed and co-wrote HBO Max drama How to Survive Without Me with Greg Berlanti; it received a 15-episode series order, with Berlanti as showrunner and Doran as executive producer. She also wrote Fear Not, a six-episode Paramount+ series starring Anne Hathaway. Across the past year or so, Doran has secured three green lights, including a pilot order for Hulu’s Foster Dade; her credits also include Traitors, Beef and The Looming Tower.
