Feel The Club boss Juan Carlos Dominguez talks promoting shows for Shakira – and putting Ecuador on the map for stadium tours
Feel The Club founder Juan Carlos Dominguez says the sell-out run of three Shakira concerts in Quito has demonstrated that Ecuador can support major international stadium tours. The shows, promoted with Live Nation, are presented as a landmark for a country that has often been bypassed by global touring acts, potentially encouraging artists and promoters to schedule multiple dates there.
More than 105,000 tickets were sold for Shakira’s three November concerts at Estadio Olímpico Atahualpa, generating $14.4 million in box-office revenue, according to Pollstar. Dominguez added that Feel The Club is bringing Def Leppard and The Strokes to Ecuador later in 2026, while developing Quito’s Arena Bicentenario, a venue due to open in December with capacity ranging from about 8,500 to 18,000.
