Oriel College is one of the colleges that make up the University of Oxford, where students study in a range of subjects. A lecturer teaches or carries out academic work; the role does not by itself mean that someone is a university professor.
In England and Wales, a charge is a formal accusation that may be tested in court. Salem denies the allegation, and the trial is where evidence will be considered; being charged is not a finding of guilt. The image categories are used in law to distinguish levels of seriousness, with category B ranked above category C.
