Ashleigh Ann Seeney was briefly released on bail but re-arrested hours later with fresh allegations; a court has now revoked her bail and ordered her to face trial. Seeney was initially charged as an alleged lookout for a shooting on 2 September that killed Joshua MacDonald, 40, a construction worker whom police believe was the victim of a mistaken gangland hit. MacDonald's family has stated he had no links to organised crime and was simply visiting a house when he was shot; he died after shielding his best friend's two young daughters from danger. The new charges relate to a separate alleged murder conspiracy involving an internal conflict within an organised crime network, and police have confirmed investigations remain ongoing under Strike Force Haleno. Seeney has been stood down by the NSW Department of Education.
