Stereogum · 4 hours ago

Fiddlehead and Walter Schreifels performed Sick Of It All’s “It’s Clobberin’ Time” in Brooklyn as a tribute to the band’s late frontman, Lou Koller. The performance followed Koller’s death from cancer, marking another public show of respect from within the hardcore scene.

Fiddlehead played the 1995 song at Warsaw in Brooklyn, with Schreifels—known for Quicksand, Gorilla Biscuits and Rival Schools—joining the Boston post-hardcore band. Singer Pat Flynn also jumped into the crowd during the performance; Drain had covered the same song at Long Beach’s revived Warped Tour the previous week.
