Explained simply
Final Fantasy 14 is an online role-playing game made by Square Enix, in which players explore a shared fantasy world, take on quests and play together. The game has received several large expansions, which add new areas and storylines and often introduce new ways for characters to fight.
Evercold is the game’s next expansion. Zephyr is one of its new jobs: in Final Fantasy 14, a job is a character’s combat role, and a physical ranged damage dealer attacks from a distance. Alliance raids are large group challenges, and this one is planned around imagery from the Japanese anime series Neon Genesis Evangelion.
