The film adapts a widely popular Naver Webtoon property, translating the online comic's retro gaming aesthetic into animation as it enters the global marketplace.

The deal positions the project for its market debut at the inaugural TIFF Market during the Toronto International Film Festival, capitalising on the established fanbase of the webtoon's multi-platform presence.
