Fiona Apple releases new theme song for Apple TV’s ‘Lucky’ starring Anya Taylor-Joy
Fiona Apple has released "Horns Of A Bull", the theme song for Apple TV's new thriller series "Lucky", which stars Anya Taylor-Joy. The seven-part show, created by "Your Friends & Neighbors" showrunner Jonathan Tropper, adapts Marissa Stapley's 2021 novel about an international con-woman evading FBI agents and a crime boss after a heist goes wrong, and premiered on the streaming service on 15 July 2026.
The unsettling, piano-backed track was co-produced by Apple with Amy Aileen Wood, and plays over the opening of each episode. NME gave "Lucky" four stars in its review, praising its tension and narrative despite some "corny and convoluted moments". Separately, it was recently confirmed that Taylor-Joy will play the elf Seren in Andy Serkis's "The Hunt For Gollum", a Lord Of The Rings prequel due in cinemas on 17 December 2027.
