Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave Is Getting A Manga Series

Nintendo Life · 3 hours ago

Nintendo has confirmed that Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave, the upcoming Switch 2 exclusive, will receive its own manga adaptation. The announcement, shared via the official Fire Emblem social media account following this week's Nintendo Direct, extends the franchise's cross-media presence and comes as artist Kazurou Kyou, who previously adapted Fire Emblem Engage into manga form, takes on the new project.

The prologue chapter will debut in the October 2026 issue of Shueisha's Saikyo Jump, released in September, and will also be available on the Shonen Jump+ app. Teaser artwork has been shared showing the game's four Heroes, the protagonist, and other characters, though no story details have been revealed yet. The Engage manga, which has never received an official English localisation, concluded its run with a final volume published in Japan this week after roughly three years. Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave itself launches exclusively on Switch 2 on 17th September 2026.
