First Impressions: Nintendo’s Latest ‘Switch 2 Edition’ Is Here, And It’ll Really Make You Sweat

Nintendo has released Fitness Boxing 3: Your Personal Trainer – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition, the latest game to receive the console's "Switch 2 Edition" upgrade treatment. Developed by Imagineer and published by Nintendo, the update adds new features on top of the expected visual improvements, aiming to make the exercise game more immersive and physically demanding for players.

The Switch 2 Edition introduces optional camera support so players can check their form in real time, along with a new "Boost Up" mode that gradually increases the tempo across four rounds on normal intensity or six on high intensity, requiring players to keep pace with the beat to avoid losing hearts. A new "Advanced Scoring Mode" also factors in punch speed for more precise timing. The game is available now on the Nintendo Switch eShop for £49.99/$59.99 as a standalone title, or as a £7.99/$9.99 upgrade for existing Switch 1 owners.
