Apple TV+ has released the first teaser trailer for its upcoming adaptation of William Gibson's seminal 1984 cyberpunk novel Neuromancer, unveiled during a San Diego Comic-Con panel. The series joins Apple's growing roster of acclaimed science fiction titles, including Severance, Foundation and Silo, and marks a high-profile attempt to bring Gibson's influential but notoriously complex story to the screen for the first time.

The show follows Case, a washed-up "super-hacker", and his partner Molly, a mirror-eyed assassin, as they attempt a heist against a powerful corporate dynasty. Callum Taylor and Briana Middleton lead the cast, supported by Mark Strong, Peter Sarsgaard, Clemence Poesy and Dane DeHaan among others. Neuromancer is set to premiere on Apple TV+ on 22 January 2027. The same SDCC weekend also brought a teaser for Prime Video's Carrie, adapted by Mike Flanagan, along with trailers for Dark Matter season two and Matchbox: The Movie.
