Fizz Mobile has partnered with retailer EB Games to launch a "Fizz Starter Pack" aimed at mobile gamers, sold exclusively through EB Games stores. The move builds on Fizz's customisable, no-fixed-plan approach to mobile service and comes as research from Newzoo's Global Gamers Study found that 79% of gamers play at least partly on their phones, underlining demand for phone plans tailored to heavy data use.

The $25 Starter Pack includes a Fizz SIM card or eSIM, $75 in credit towards the customer's first bill, and 100 GB of bonus data intended to reduce the risk of running out of data mid-session. Customers who sign up also gain access to Fizz's other standard perks, including monthly data rollover, Rewards programme bonuses such as bill credits and extra data, and a $25 referral bonus for both the referrer and the new customer they bring in.
