FKA Twigs confirmed as curator of Meltdown Festival in 2027

FKA Twigs will curate the 2027 Meltdown Festival at London’s Southbank Centre, shaping its programme of concerts and events. Her appointment continues the festival’s tradition of inviting artists to devise a programme, and places her vision across music and other creative forms at its centre.

The festival is scheduled for 10 to 20 June 2027, with its line-up and ticket release dates due to be announced in early 2027. Twigs says she plans to draw on London’s cultural diversity and the influences that have shaped her work, while Southbank Centre artistic director Mark Ball highlighted her connections to music, dance, fashion and visual art.
